Alum Chapter Events
The Honors Alum Chapter hosted its 2nd annual Pack Picnic on the Quad on Wednesday, July 8th, 2009. Honors alums, students and staff enjoyed cookies, popcorn, watermelon, face painters, and bounce houses while listening to the sounds of the DG KICKS.

2008 Pack Picnic on the Quad
On July 16th, 2008, the Honors Program Alum Chapter hosted the Pack Picnic on the Quad We were were excited to see current Honors students, as well as catch up with many Honors alums and family members! The popcorn was popping, the pink lemonade was flowing, and even President Glick stopped by to say hello!

Honors Program Herz Gold Medal Awardees

President John Lilley pins the Herz Gold Medal on Adam Blitstein, an electrical engineering major from Las Vegas, during the May 2005 Commencement ceremonies. Blitstein finished his undergraduate academic career as a member of the Honors Program with a cumulative grade point average of 4.0. 
Jodie Parker gives Interim President Joe Crowley a hug after receiving the Herz Gold Medal during the May 2006 Commencement ceremonies. She is a nutrition major from Winnemucca, who completed her undergraduate studies as a member of the Honors Program with a perfect 4.0.
President Milton Glick with Herz Gold Medal winner Irena Yamboliev at the December 2006 Commencement ceremonies. Yamboliev earned dual degrees in English literature and biology and is a graduate of Earl Wooster High School in Reno. She completed her undergraduate academic career with a cumulative grade-point average of 4.0 and is a member of the Honors Program.
